Just beautiful! We too feel very lucky to have our surroundings which make lock down very bearable. For many of us here in rural France our gardens this year are going to be "impeccable". Stay safe.

Isn't that the truth! It's completely bizarre, since I have no extra time to devote to the garden which I didn't have previously, but I suddenly find myself getting round to all sorts of tasks that I've been putting off, in some cases for years. Yesterday, I finished putting all of the mountains of fruit tree prunings through the wood chipper (I use them on the paths), and today - possibly - I might actually get around to turning the compost heap, which is a job that's been on my to-do list since at least 2015!
