not to mention the Schmidts, the Duponts, the Garcias, the Van den Burghs, the Holmquists, the McDougalls, the Llewellyns, and the Winckelmanns...
We, too, have snow!!!
Not exactly thigh-high, I admit...and in fact, by the time of writing, most of it has now disappeared (which I don't mind, one bit)...but still...
Snow!
Tonight's dinner:
Flamiches
Scaloppine, stuffed with Prosciutto and Fontina, breaded and fried; Roast Celeriac.
Unmoulded Apple in aspic, with Rum & Orange; Vanilla Ice Cream.

At least yours looks pretty, ours is ugly now with messy patches of earth and road showing through. Grim.
Well, the meteorologists seem to be saying Spring is imminent, so that's it for another three seasons.
I love the oranges with their topping of snow! Hope all your plants have come through ok. I brought everything I could indoors and wrapped some small slim cypresses in white fleece because we went down to minus 13 at night and there was quite a wind chill. Fortunately the snow's gone here too and we're back to muddy paw marks all over the cottage. :)
The crinums have taken rather a pasting, but will probably pull through; likewise the solanums, and the Lemon Verbena. Last night was a heavy frost, but followed by warm sunshine, and the garden is now gently steaming. It seems that the worst is over.
